CWA 1180 Training and Education

High-tech training available through CWA

Among our parent union's educational efforts to help its members, CWA has made a particular commitment to making training in high-growth industries in high-tech fields available to CWA members. In partnership with Cisco Systems, the union is offering CCNA and A+ computer technology certification training in an innovative on-line curriculum. That means you can pursue the training from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Conveniently, the lab work required for this program can be done at Local 1180, which has the physical facilities set up specifically to support the Cisco training program.
