New legal benefit
September 2005
In July, the Local 1180 trustees agreed to provide some legal benefits to any unemancipated children of our members—-and this includes children over 18 years of age who still qualify as dependents. These children will now be eligible for free legal consultation and document review on such matters as contracts, leases, college documents, and loan agreements. To access legal counseling for your child, simply contact the Benefits Security Fund at 212-966-5353 to set up an appointment.
