City Bargaining
Mayoral agencies get one percent payout
July 2003
City employees will receive a 1% payout and should see the new amounts in their July 18 paycheck. HHC has not determined when it will begin making the payments, but the union is pressuring to make it happen soon. Workers who get the experience differential now receive $34.56 each pay period.
After the one percent increase, that amount will increase to 64.59.
People who receive the experience differential are currently receiving $901 per annum. The retroactive amount they will receive is roughly as follows: 4/1/00-3/31/01 - $36 (difference between 901 and 937); 4/1/01-3/31/02 - $73 (difference between 901 and 974); 3/31/02-6/30/02 - approx. $18.25 (difference between 901 and 974 for 3 months); 6/30/02-6/29/03 - $783 (difference between 901 and 1684).
