The Hispanic Committee has been under Local 1180 for some twenty (20) years and is currently chaired by Venus Colon-Williams who filled that position in April 2008.
The Hispanic Committee currently has eight (8) members and
Includes Lourdes Acevedo, DOT, Jose Pimental, DOC, Otissa Dillard, HRA, Leandro Monzon, HHC, Charles Garcia, HRA, Esther Rodriguez, DEP and Andrea McCoy, OCSE. The Committee’s goal is to get more members involved in the Union.
The Committee meets the second Thursday of each month. The Hispanic Committee will host CWA Local 1180’s first time participation in the Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Please come out and join us.
