On Friday, December 11, 2009, CWA Local 1180 hosted it’s first ever “Committee Bowl”, an event developed and planned by the Committee on Arts, Events & Entertainment, as a way to promote the various committees that serve under Local 1180, and to encourage members to join a committee of their choice.

The Event was held at Leisure Time Bowling Lanes located in Times Square in the Port Authority Building.  The event proved to be a great success with approximately thirty five members in attendance.  Participants occupied six lanes and competed to bowl the highest score, as they danced to the music and enjoyed sandwiches and sodas.

The next “Committee Bowl” event is planned for May 14, 2010 pending Executive Board Approval, and is open to all CWA Local 1180 Committee Members, so don’t delay, join a committee today!
